How long have you been shooting families?
Since 2006!!

How many families have you shot?
It’s pretty impossible to say at this point, but considering I captured 95 families alone last year… it’s safe to say I’ve been fortunate to photograph a LOT of families!

Do you have specific office hours?

Do you have a limit to how far you’ll travel to capture my family?
Nope! I shoot mostly in Austin and the surrounding areas, but if you want me to make the trek to a location that is a bit further out, just let me know! I love getting to photograph new locations and terrain! There may be a travel fee applied to certain locations.

Do you have an assistant at our session?
Nope! I fly solo on family sessions. I have a very minimalist approach to photographing families. Too many people or lights or props can be distracting… I like to focus on the real emotions in people, so my energy is put there instead.

How many photos do you take and do we get?
This can vary depending on several factors… how comfy you are in front of the camera, how many locations and outfits you select to include in your session, the amount of time of your session, and the type of session. Family sessions can range between 200 - 500 photos captured, but each package has a specific number of images included. Contact me to get pricing and package information!

Alright, I like what I'm hearing! How do I book you?
Yay!! Let's do this!  I am happy to offer a completely paper-free online booking process. Portrait Sessions require a 50% retainer and signed contract to hold your date. The balance is due on the day of your session. We will select a date/time for your appointment and then I’ll send over a contract for you to fill out.

What should we wear?
Once you book with me, I will send over a highly detailed prep guide with tips and ideas on what to wear, best practices for getting ready for the day, and what to expect. I promise. you will be fully informed and prepared!

What gear do you use?
For all you gear-heads out there, I shoot with the Canon R5, and a complete arsenal of Canon lenses and flashes.

How long does it take to get my photos after the session/event?
It’s no more than a two to three week turnaround to see your online gallery in your inbox.

What payment methods do you accept?
Credit Card. (We impose a surcharge on credit cards that is not greater than our cost of acceptance.)

Check If paying by check, please email me directly for my mailing address. Checks must be received by your due date to avoid late fees.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Appointments may be rescheduled by Client without penalty up to 31 days before your scheduled session. If you need to reschedule your appointment for any reason 15-30 days before your appointment, there is a $50 rescheduling fee. All appointments rescheduled 7-14 days before your appointment will be charged a $100 rescheduling fee. Appointments rescheduled six days or less will be charged $175 to reserve a new appointment.
